PEPPER RASAM / MENASINA SAARU

INGREDIENTS:

1. 1 Tbsp Cumin Seeds.
2. 1 Tbsp Pepper.
3. 2 Tbsp Urad Dal.
4. 1 Cup Grated Cobra.
5. Little Hing. 
6. Salt to Taste.
7. Required Quantity of Water.
8. 1 Glass of Milk.
9. Curry Patta for Garnishing.
10.1 Tbsp Jaggery (Optional).

TADKA / SEASONING:
1 Tsp Ghee,1Tsp Cumin Seeds,Little Hing & Curry Patta.

METHOD: 

1. Heat Little Ghee in a Pan & Add cumin Seeds,Pepper,Urad dal,Grated Cobra & Hing. Fry Nicely  & keep it aside.
2. When Cool,Grind all the fried ingredients to smooth paste.
3. Mix the grinded Paste with required water & keep it for boiling in a thick bottomed vessel .
4. Add Salt,Jaggery & Curry Patta.When it starts boiling nicely,put the Tadka.
5. While serving add 1 Glass Hot Milk.
