TOMATO RASAM / SAARU

TOMATO RASAM:

INGREDIENTS:

1. 2 Big Tomatoes.
2. 2 Green Chilles .
3. 1Tsp Jeera.
4. 1Tsp Pepper.
5. Half Tsp Haldi.
6. 2Tsp Jaggery.
7. 2Tbsp Tamarind Juice.
8. Hing.
9. Salt To Taste,
10.Half Cup Grated Coconut.
11.4 Cups of Water.
12. Coriander Leaves & Curry Patta For Garnishing.

TADKA / SEASONING:
1Tsp Ghee,1tsp Mustard Seeds,Little Hing.

METHOD:

1.Wash Nicely & Cut the Tomatoes.
2.Warm Jeera, Pepper, Green Chilles, Hing, Cut Tomatoes, Grated Coconut & grind smoothly.
3. Boil the grinded smooth mixture by adding Water,Haldi,Hing,Jaggery,Tamarind Juice & Salt.
4. When it starts boiling nicely add Coriander Leaves & Curry Patta.
5. Put Tadka at the end & serve hot with Rice.
